Founded in 1970, Conyers Animal Hospital was the first veterinary hospital in Rockdale. Our founder, Dr. Joe Sharp, had a vision to provide outstanding and personal care for pets – and we’ve been doing it ever since we opened our doors! Our tagline “Pet Care For Generations” is personified every day when we meet the children and grandchildren of our clients. Our clients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here. 

From the time you call our office and walk in the door, you will feel the positive and welcoming energy from our knowledgeable Customer Service team. This same level of energy radiates throughout our entire practice as we meet you and your pet.  

We feel that it is important for our clients to know what goes on behind the scenes of a veterinary practice. We PRIDE ourselves in transparency offering to our clients the ability to tour our facility, visit with their hospitalized pet, and see where their baby will be staying and how they will be cared for.

Conyers Animal Hospital is a community-based companion animal veterinary hospital established in 1970 serving the Rockdale, Newton, Henry, Walton, and Dekalb counties. Our full-service animal hospital’s veterinarians strive to provide your pet with comprehensive health care by implementing new therapies and technology to complement over 155 years of combined experience.
